I love this gun. It is so emblematic of the 90s and 2000s.

from my time with trying to delve into actual militias, i can tell you that the american civilian militia, falls into 1 of 3 or 4 categories;

1 oldtimers. This sort of militia consists of guys over 50 (ie, Boomers), and generally 50 or more pounds overweight (usually a beergut to the point of 'pregnancy'). Also, exclusively white, exclusively christian (the more hard-charging bible-thumping the better). Also likely to be racist, either quietly or otherwise. These are the guys that lived to see the ruby ridge incident, the branch davidian waco incident, the hutaree ranch incident, the bundy ranch incident, and probably several other 'the militia really shoulda been there' events happen, and they didn't even so much as try to suit-up and go do what they (usually drunkenly) run their mouths about.

2 weekend warriors. These are possibly the next gen to category 1, but are even less inclined to actually do anything along the lines of what they run their mouths about. Usually, the weekend warriors are contented to be armchair generals for the most part. Those who do actually do anything in real life, will generally confine themselves to 'grown up boyscouts' type things, such as camping, knot-tying, ham radio things, and gun collecting and getting their range time in.

Where the oldtimers have a strong sense of in-born morality, and a generally 'patriotic' culture to back it up, the weekend warriors have no such foundational mentality. Like the oldtimers, the weekend warriors will do absolutely nothing of what they espouse, with regard to actionably opposing the government's actions, and in fact, may even be the first to collaborate with the enemy, be it our own government and a generally traitorous military / militarized police forces, foreign militaries, or whatever. If other doomsday scenarios happen, they will probably be among the first to form predatory bandit and raider groups.

3 fed honeypot. three to five out of eight people in this militia are legit feds; 'former' police, 'former' state troopers, 'former' FBI, and the like. If you aren't a fed yourself, and your group has more than 5 'former' law enforcement people in it, get the fuck out, because if anything happens and this militia rolls out to do anything at all, then YOU, are the fall-guy. Especially if you are not there that day.
All of those others ? yeah, they have legal immunity - You Don't. Start Running, and don't ever stop.

4 a combination and/or all of the above. Natch.

TL;DR - basically the entirety of the american civilian militia, is sabotaged, non-functional, hijacked, subverted, and dead-on-arrival. Once the police and military are either turn-coated or taken out, that's it, there is nobody els Message too long. Click here to view the full text.

Can a tank have wheels? Anon Kalashnikov 17/02/09(Thu)07:44 No. 15363 [Reply]

I'm arguing with my friend whether a tank can have wheels or not and what makes a tank a tank.

He's saying in order for a tank to be a tank it has to have a tracked chassis as the main determining factor.

I say it just determines on what its role is. As in a bulky armored vehicle.

I suppose this also goes into the argument of what differentiates a tank from an APC.

Also if a tank is simply determined by treads what about future prototype tanks that only have legs?

Tanks clearly can have more than just treads in my opinion but I suppose i'll let you guys argue about it.

Alternative weaponry? Anon Kalashnikov 14/07/23(Wed)08:29 No. 14988 [Reply]

I suddenly had the urge to think about alternative /w/eaponry.

Thinks like the tool on the left can be adapted into weapons. So, this thread will be all about the use of everyday items as weapons (I feel like an advertisement for some reason).

So, lets start taking about /w/eapons. In what ways could we adapt things like this needle scaler, or, say, a light bulb, into effective weapons?

Same dude, pipe rifles are incredible marvels for humanity yet people look under them, made right they have the exactly same stats perhaps even more of a normal gun plus you could always just use a air rifle, sure a shot to the body may be less lethal but to the head or to the chest, like 83% chance of death

I haven't found any laws regulating the carrying of hatchets on your person in Texas. I may start doing this. Any thoughts other than that OP is a pretentious wanker?

I'm just bitter because I can't carry my OKC-3S.

I've ordered this quiver, advertised as a hip quiver, has a buckle at the bottom that continues back around to the top to a slip joint looped by elastic. Question is, how the fuck do I put it on properly
