Think about what you just said. If the Universe is expanding, it has to expand into space that it didn’t occupy before, and if it was infinitely small at one time, then it had to have gotten bigger from somewhere. That somewhere is the origin point.

You don't understand that absolutely everything is expanding. Imagine the universe is the surface of a balloon with little dots on it, as you blow it up, all of the dots get farther away from each other, with no single origin point. You are infact expanding yourself, as the gaps between individual molecules, atoms and subatomic particles that make you grow larger, due to the fact that space and time itself is expanding.
It's hard to get your head around, I can see why you're unwilling to beleive it.
