What do you guys think about Neuralink? Is it a danger to humanity? Is it actually possible to create such a product? How long until it gets into our lives? Will it finish anonymity? How to save ourselves?

when neuralink's BCI gets released into the market, it will be used to help those suffering from brain injuries. so in the near-term, it will be a niche product with medical applications.
in the long-term, i think some refinements and breakthroughs will be made, which will obviously improve the functionality of the BCI, but it will still remain a primarily niche product meant for the mentally incapacitated.

i don't think most people would willingly consent to invasive surgery done on their brain, dude.

Similar kinds of situations occurred multiple times on history, things that would terrify society when they hear about back then become normal and regular things as the time passed thanks to the great brainwashing program. So it would not be a surprise to see this brain-computing concept becoming a real and powerful system which is used by some special groups and government. These are just baby steps of those kinds of technologies to regularize that will be beneficial to those specific groups.

I don't doubt you, but care to name a few?

Dude, neuroprosthetics is already a thing. Been around since the 50's. Pig insulin is already a thing and xenotransplantation is next.

Quit being squeamish.

I think if you put a bunch of electrodes in your head and there's a solar flare you will be in deep trouble. Could be problems with poorly shielded microwave ovens even.

That's not how it works. A solar flare is just an electromagnetic wave. Think radio, and how the bigger the antenna, the more it absorbs. Things that will be in danger from a solar flare are like power lines hundreds of feet long. An "electrode" inside a head a couple millimeters long won't be affected. If it did, there would literally be sparks simultaneously shooting off of every metal object on the entire planet, which I can only imagine would heat the entire atmosphere to thousands of degrees in an instant. No need to worry about your brain chips getting a little wonky when you and everyone else has been vaporized.

So you're saying there's no such thing as higher frequency harmonics?

You put electrodes in your head I'll pass.

Why would the elites be promoting it so strongly if it wasn't good for us? They know best. That's why they're elite.

Sarcasm aside, they're doing it for the same reason they (or anyone else) does anything.

Because it'll make money.

Behold the French celestial girlfriend conjecture.
For integer n.
If n divided by 3 has no remainder, divide n by three.
If n divided by 3 has remainder 1, n = 2n+1
If n divided by 3 has remainder 2, n = 3n+3

N will always return to 1 if you repeat this procedure on n.
