How is it impossible to remove this substance from skin or clothing? The British police are currently spraying their clear goo all over the faces of men.

Asking for a friend.

Because it bonds in a manner similar to super glue and people generally avoid washing their face (and clothes) with acetone.

I wash my skin with acetone every time I use polyglass. I guess I'll test this.

I recommend getting some strong exfoliant cream and removing the top layer of skin.

Alternatively I recommend purposely spraying everyone with it to make the whole thing useless.

To sanitize clothing use a solution of at least 71 percent pure isopropyl. Put it in a spray misting bottle with a fine mister.

It is better to err on the side of caution, and go over 70 percent if you don't chemistry well.
