So anyways, it's a crap shoot, being able to judge relationships before you start them
I would say less than 15% of people are good at reading what someone else want out of a relationship with them from before the get go
So people get better at after loads of goes, others simply keep getting it wrong
A most of people just stick a with a 50/50 relationship deal, for years

Narcissists are good at hiding their true selves. This wasn't your fault. He's the one who sucks, not you.

Seriously doubt he's an actual narcissist, just sounds like a prick. For narcissism there needs to be TWO people. A mother and son fir example, the mother won't let the boy grow up because it makes her feel old. She needs that fuel to continue feeling young so she doesn't allow her child to grow so she can feel like a mother all her life costing the child's development because she refuses to grow up

I've been in a similar situation. My mom was a Narcisst so I'm prone to falling for their tricks. If he comes back and wants to fix it he IS a narcissist and you need to keep him out of your life. NO MATTER WHAT. In the mean time stay alive and enjoy the freedom. If he doesn't come back celebrate by being free of a toxic douche.

Narcissism is an overused buzzword for any act of assholery.

Narcisissism isnt always loud in self-value.
It has high self value with a fragile ego amd a god complex.

Most assholes have moderate self-image and arent so concerned about trying to look exceptionally good to others.
They just only care about pleasuring their physical and pyschological drives
