So, Rick and Morty's been pretty great so far. Anybody got anything to say about the new season?

It feels like it will be better than season 4 and 5. I thought they were pretty lackluster. A few episodes stand out, like the vat of acid episode, but most of them just felt really bland. I think its because the writing got lazy. The cool thing about Rick and Morty was its scope but lately it feels like they were being deep and epic just for the sake of being deep and epic. It felt very uninspired. That whole crow bullshit in the end of season 5 was forced as fuck.
Watching season 4 and 5 kinda gave me the same feeling where you're at the end stages of a video game. You've upgraded your character to the max, nothing is really a challenge for you anymore and you're just sorta going through the motions. I thought the first episode of season 6 was great. It's starting off well.

Going back and seeing the Season Two family was almost startling.
