I'm going to assume you're talking about Hiren's Boot CD... which hasn't been updated since 2012 and runs off an old version of Windows PE.
If the drive is still readable then PhotoRec to recover data or TestDisk to try and undo whatever happened to the partition map.
If the drive is in the process of failing, using ddrescue to copy whatever sectors are readable to a zeroed drive is my go-to. Once it finishes you can run photorec on it, or dupe it to an image then run disk repair utilities... the image is in case repairing makes it worse, you can restore it back to it's original state without going through ddrescue all over again.
If you need a prebuilt distribution with ddrescue included, ubuntu rescue remix is still around, although it's performance on newer hardware may not be ideal.
