Dear John,

Considering your doubles, I would like to enter two items into the record prior to the much anticipated salad cheese reveal:

1) whereas a carrot, being a root and not containing seeds, is regarded to be a vegetable, and most certainly not any form of liquid derivative of one or more basic ingredients (of which it is one(1)); a carrot itself cannot be the subject of a reduction; and further a carrot or other vegatable or combination thereof, in the absence of equipment suitable for reducing, cannot therefoer enter the possibility of a state of reduction.

2) Are you seriously not eating the peels? That's nutrition central, and said curly peels make a great garnish after chopping them a bit down to, say, frito-like size for easy handling.

With remorse about possibly losing John over a Dear John post,
John

and the cheese reveal is: nothing!

This is the basic salad, TBH I just eat it like this most of the time. Sometimes I dress with sesame seeds or parmesean, and I have been known to sprinkle vinegar and oil on a salad now and then.

>reduction
I am probably just using the wrong word, John.

>peels
I know. Next time I do potatoes I should show you how I bake the peels into chips. I suppose I could try it with carrot peel sometime.

Dear John,

That's a fine salad. Following a healthy diet is very important.

You should also be eating the peels. Glad to hear you do that with potatoes. Their peels are very healthy.

John.

Dear John,

These are potato peel hash browns.

Not my best work, and forgive the lack of progress photos.

I rescued these from Jane's cooking; next time I do it myself I will make a proper series.

Applicable. The crunch would work I guess but they need to be evenly sparsed and not lumped or too rare. It would be hard to guarantee you get one in every bite

John,

Please do with the potato peels. My parents once tossed them on the compost pile before I could capture them for frying myself, which is a better fate for them than a landfill, I suppose. One begins to wonder about the possibility of a root peel soup on the notion of a winter root soup with a cream and cheese theme. Perhaps a french onion style stock sensibility?

Keep us updated. I scarfed a good fistful of depressing shredded mozerella I found in somebody's salad today. Being one step above dehydrated and bleached emulsifiers and left over milk byproducts from pork teets mixed with used chinese oil, it was quite satisfying, and even remained pliable at approximately 23F. Truly a marvel of modern food science. Imagine mammals having this much trouble with milk and milk accessories.

Dear john I begin to tire of salad. Imo, lettuce is terrible for food, except as burger veggies.

I prefer soup with cabbage. Or having celery with homemade dip

Soups are great. Easy hack for super soup; buy a can of soup and throw any meat into it. Better to bake or fry the meat first, but you don't even need to

Turns shitty veggie soup into le epic meal

Americans are completely retarded now.

Americans will look you in the eye and say smoking was banned because the state wants to get more money from cigarette taxes.

How was your salad, John? I hope my placement of the comma was appropriate... Regardless, I do enjoy a good salad with croutons, green peas, sardines, sliced chicken pieces, and some ranch poured on.

Wow.

Turks say tyranny is perfectly acceptable because North Korea is also a police state.
