On a certain level that's what civics itself is about: learning about the ins and outs that make your institutions what they are so you can more fully participate in them with more valuable contributions.

I don't think we really have the problem this board is intended to solve. I've never felt that /b/ was overwhelmingly flooded with political threads. Furthermore, given the generally strawberried nature of political discussions on 7chan, /b/ is a much more appropriate place for such pissing contests.
