You know the shitty looking CGI Appleseed show is kinda cool. If you like those sci-fi action shows like uh, anything Adult Swim, you'll like it too. It comes in two easily digestible movies.

Watch out on nyaa.si as the 2nd movie is actually the very cool harlock movie part 2. You'll have to go on irc to get it from the bot on rizon.

Theatrical CGI has been good for a while, barring the Xenoblade Girl Movie . . . what was it, Expelled from Paradise? Anywho the issue with Appleseed not only comes from the low quality CGI but the fact nobody does the content right. It's a lot like GITS.

I think you're right, when not doing a show every week studios can create more appealing computer models. Just look how they fixed the Berzerk show when it went to BD. I mean it was still pretty bad, but like if Redline or something is 100 for appearance then the Berzerk TV is like and the Berzerk TV's BD is like 68.
