One piece is probably the best shonen anime in existence.

I just capped off my latest binge on episode 650 in the middle of the donflamingo arch, and, I have to say I am pretty impressed. I mean, yeah the anime's quality has taken a pretty hard hit and fishman island was a hti and miss arch, but, I still think the show is going incredibly strong after all this time.

I really enjoy the dressrosa arch and, frankly, I loved punk hazard.

I loved the characters introduced in Hazard and I think it was awesome to see Law actually doing some kick ass shit for once; law being one of my favorite characters.

That being said, yeah, I think the pacing of the anime is way off.

I don't know I still love it. Hopefully I can finish it up after this break before we hit the thousandth episode.

Yeah there are more Dressrossa Episodes then Manga chapters. Mr. Moji is a great channel that covers the rich themes and symbolism in One Piece if you're interested in that.

I not only can't afford my japan related hobbies, I can't afford jack shit. Covid restrictions in this state made it so you can't have X amount of people in a room at once. So they just don't hire anyone! I work in IT and had to get laid off when it started, and now I can't get a new job until it's over.

Strike Witches S1, good. S2, ehhh. Later seasons/spinoffis, very fun. Brave Witches? Back to the ehh.

I have never seen GuP. I should have gotten into it when aired. But now, with so much material, and having to keep up with current seasons, catching up on that is something I guess I'll have to pass on. But-given it's popularity, I've heard plenty already.
That's hardly the best of "gun" series with, well yeah, lolis.
For seriousness and bloodshed, you start with Gunslinger Girl. Anime good-manga better, though will rip your heart out.
For drama/action/comedy, there's Stella Women's Academy Class C3 can get slow, but the story is good, and it has Miyuki Sawashiro, which is automatic win.
There's shows about being a gun/person, Upotte!
And for absolute insanity, there's Sabagebu.

I may have to come back with some smackdown on Strike Wtiches though. They were hardly the first of the flying girls genre.
