I'm not the one who posted it, but I have gotten and posted your stuff in the past, and I just want to let you know that your work is far and away the best paycontent out there, and pretty much the only producer of the same I'd consider routinely worth the price of admission. I've personally stopped distributing your stuff until ~6 months after release, and ended up ponying up a bit to you guys after being exposed to some of your earlier anthology-type works (experiments, the party, shortcuts) just because I've been shown how good they are - which I guarantee I'd never had done without getting exposed to you here. I don't know how much distributions like this affect your routine buyers or how much overlap there is between people who check piracy threads on chans and those same buyers, but do know your quality does create fans and I'll try to curtail mass uploads in the future. Please don't punish your regular fans for the actions of us bad apples, we're gonna profit off your hard work one way or another it's all potentially free to us, the non-pirates are who'll get hit.

I feel like everyone should try their hand at making and selling content. It really gives you a new perspective on piracy when the stuff you see being casually shared is stuff that you yourself worked on.

I actually do, to an extent. Not for art, but for music. I mostly do covers of obscure-yet-catchy ditties, and also isolating the music itself from TV-shows that have no official soundtrack release. I put them all up on youtube and let people do what they want with them for free so long as they link me the final product. Even though I put a lot of work into my pieces I enjoy seeing the productions others use them for.

I know it's not the same as your own work, as what you do is entirely original and doesn't really have the opportunity to be "remixed" - closest I can think of is if someone turned your stories into full comics, or did one of your comics in a completely different art-style. That said, while I admit I've never really been into TF-stories, as a fellow content creator I do appreciate the work that would go into them.

It does suck to see someone just re-uploading it without attribution, which has happened a few times. Luckily, they never become close to as popular as the original.

Heck, someone has even stolen my username (not like an imposter, but being uncreative and creepy). There's a difference between dickriding a creator and stealing their unique identifier.

The plug-ins work, they just force the site to ask you for e-hentai login deets on the panda itself so you don't have to fuck around with cookies. Either way works, except when it doesn't and people bitch about the panda because they did something wrong/had something weird with their browser or whatever that made it break

Either you join up with an established scanlation group, do a few things yourself to establish a portfolio and try to convince people to bite on you on one of the dedicated forums, or use e-hentai's dedicated bounty system (https://e-hentai.org/bounty.php) for for their specific currency (which I think people then convert into bitcoin?) to fulfill community-funded requests.

If you expect to be paid for work you need to do it through professional avenues, and for good reason - there's pretty thorough quality expectations for these, and scripts need to be laid out in a certain way and with ongoing communication channels between commissioner and translator to be worth cash. Most people (myself included) just translate/edit the pages themselves and post them on a relevant 4/7/8chan board for someone else to edit/upload if there's part of the process you don't know how to do - if you've got the time and motivation, consider just doing a quick write-up and posting it on /d/ or something, give back to the community.
